Breathtaking fjord views, unique rustic charm, access to nearby viewpoints
Room sizes felt cramped!!! A complete absence of elevators means hauling heavy luggage up stairs!!! The bathroom in the room was outdated and small, making it less functional overall!!!

Charming older hotel with rustic decor, offering stellar views of Geiranger Fjord from common areas. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially in resolving my car issues. Breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. Note that rooms lack modern upgrades. ours had a cozy garden view but was quite small.

Yo, the views from our room were like nothing I’ve ever seen—right across the fjord! Dinner was straight-up phenomenal, like fine dining level, served on nice china. Only thing? Tiny bathroom, really cramped. Loved the ambiance though, felt cozy. Sleeping with those fjord views? Priceless!

The Double Room with Garden View we stayed in was comfy and quiet, even though it was on the smaller side. The garden view was nice, but I really missed having a fjord view. The bed was super comfortable, which helped us sleep well, despite the tight bathroom situation. No elevator, so be ready for some stairs! Really liked the cozy, historic ambiance though. Perfect spot for a peaceful escape.
